AI settings
Control Epismo built-in AI review for Cases billed to this home.
Each personal space or workspace home has AI settings that apply to Cases whose billing account is that home. Open Settings → AI in the web app. Other homes are unaffected. This controls Epismo-provided AI only, not a bring-your-own model.
Who can change settings
| Home | Who can change |
|---|---|
| Personal space | The signed-in user |
| Workspace | Owners and Admins |
Members can use Epismo AI on Cases when the home allows it, but they cannot change these settings.
Allow Epismo AI
When Allow Epismo AI is on (the default when no settings row exists), Case editors may turn on autoReview, request a manual review, and run queued reviews for Cases of this home.
When it is off:
- New Cases do not start with auto review, even if the default below is on.
- Turning
autoReviewon, and manualcase review/epismo_case_review, are rejected. - Cases that already have
autoReviewon keep that preference. Output-triggered jobs still enqueue, then skip without writing a review Record and without charging credits. The assignee may get a skipped-review notification. - Turning
autoReviewoff on a Case remains allowed.
Re-enabling Epismo AI does not rewrite Case preferences; Cases that stayed on resume automatic reviews on the next OUTPUT.
Auto review new Cases by default
When on, case start / epismo_case_start that omit autoReview start with auto review enabled for this home. Editors can still turn it off on a Case. Explicit autoReview: false still starts off. This default has no effect while Allow Epismo AI is off.
Review prompt
Optional guidance used when a review run has no one-off prompt — including automatic reviews and a manual review with an empty prompt. It sits after the fixed review rules. Leave it empty to use only those rules.
Allow web search during review
When on, review may use Google Search to check claims against the open web. Each search query used during a review adds to the token-based credit charge on the Case billing account. See Credits.
